The Art of Storytelling is a three-month mentorship for artists interested in deepening their craft in film, theater, and/or creative writing. Whether you’re a practicing artist, a secret artist, or a parent returning to your craft, this container offers a space to evolve your practice and shape a specific project (i.e., a film, theater piece, or book).
Through a deep understanding of form, we open into a space of experimentation, play, and freedom. In this mentorship, we will study great works of art from the histories of cinema and theater, while also mining our own lives for stories—building a body of work that is deeply personal, embodied, and inspiring.
As a director, writer, and performer, Kat is drawn to stories that explore the edges of identity, intimacy, and transformation. With a practice that is steeped in both rigorous study and devotion, Kat is a working artist who has facilitated creative spaces for over fifteen years.
